Safety Waivers & Code of Conduct

Terms of Participation & Safety Waiver

Applicable to all fighters, coaches, attendees, and volunteers • #GLOVESUPGUNSDOWN609

1. Zero-Tolerance Anti-Violence & Weapons Code

Gloves Up Guns Down was created to eliminate street gun violence and replace conflict with boxing discipline. The possession, display, or threat of any firearm, knife, or weapon at any event, gym facility, or affiliated parking area will result in immediate expulsion, permanent ban, and referral to civil authorities.

2. Athletic Safety & Medical Screening

Boxing is a contact combat sport. All participants agree to submit to mandatory pre-bout health screenings conducted by on-site registered nurses (including vitals, hydration, and concussion assessment). Ringside medical personnel possess unilateral authority to stop any bout or training session if a participant’s physical well-being is compromised.

3. Sportsmanship & Outside Conduct

The boxing techniques taught in our gyms are strictly for athletic competition and personal fitness. Participants agree that utilizing boxing skills to initiate unprovoked violence, street fighting, or bullying violates the core pledge of the movement and results in immediate termination of gym enrollment.

4. Event Ticket & General Admission Policy

Official event passes purchased via Stripe are subject to venue capacity limits at Booker's Lounge, Rolling Thunder Skating Rink, and partner facilities. Event organizers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove attendees who disrupt community harmony.
